Volunteers

Gifts of time and talent make many of the State Theatre's programs and special events possible. Become an active State Theatre volunteer associate and share in the pride of supporting one of New Jersey's finest not-for-profit performing arts centers. Your contribution of time and skills will help us continue to present the best in live entertainment and arts education for generations to come.

Great Performances. Great People
State Theatre volunteer associates have at least one thing in common: they love supporting the State Theatre with its world-class performances and commitment to community outreach and education programs. Our volunteers play an important role in the State Theatre by enthusiastically providing leadership and support for myriad projects and activities. And, new faces are always welcome.

Comprised of men and women of all ages and backgrounds, our corps of volunteers works to strengthen community awareness and public appreciation of the State Theatre, contribute to its financial strength, and provide appropriate support services to its staff. State Theatre staff members welcome and support all volunteer activities.

Giving is Rewarding.
Becoming a State Theatre volunteer makes you a part of the State Theatre family. As you share your talents and interests with fellow volunteers, you also learn more about the inner workings of the theater, its education programs and its role in the community.

Volunteers share a sense of pride and a number of benefits. Volunteers:

  • Know they make a difference
  • Meet new friends, sharing a comon bond—a commitment to the State Theatre
  • Share a sense of accomplishment and pride in being a part of the State Theatre
  • Develop skills through participation
