a Free Performance Series for Children

MILK & COOKIES is a lively, interactive, and FREE series featuring storytelling, music, puppetry, and more. Recommended for children ages 3-8 and their families, Milk & Cookies invites young people to discover the joy of watching, listening, and interacting with the arts. The 6 events (3 in the fall and 3 in the spring) are offered once a month, on select Saturdays at 10am and 12pm.  Free milk and cookies are distributed to children (while supplies last).

Shirley Johnson: Jack Tales & Adventures

   You may know Jack as a giant-killer, but did you also know that he had a flying ship? Or that he captured Death and lived to be 600 years old? Storyteller Shirley Johnson shows you the many sides of Jack: his wisdom and his foolishness, his laziness and his sense of adventure.
Diane Macklin: Animal Tail Tales

Diane Macklin returns to Milk & Cookies to share international tales featuring a colorful assortment of animals large and small. The stories remind us about the importance of sharing, patience, and a sense of humor.
